2007 Cubs Opener

Each year, we try to make the home night opener for the Iowa Cubs.  Over the years, some of the faces have changed and the weather has been everything from balmy to blustery, but we still try to make it.  2007 was cold but dry.  Ever better was the Cubbies shellacking the Round Rock Express.  The "paid admission" was 6,000 - but it was a brave crowd of about 750 that stuck the game out.

2007 followed on the tremendous success of Pete caught a hotdog from the hotdog cannon.   Both Pete and Brad snagged T-Shirts.  We gave them to some kids sitting nearby.  They thought they were really cool.

Blue Burger won!

The guys show off the new shirts.

Brad and Michelle found this old school Jeep bearing a "Reichardt for Governor" sticker, which dates to 1993.

Jenni is certainly not happy at something (or more accurately someone- her husband).

We all went to Raccoon River to shoot pool after the game.
